Proosthof

Proosthof is a breeding yard of showjumping horses.

On Proosthof we breed with a number of carefully selected mares which have performed in the sport themselves or already have promising offspring. We breed mainly to provide for our own, constant need of young talent.

The foals are, between birth and the age of three, internally rated on a number of selection criteria, including health and jumping abilities. In this procedure, relative talented youngstock is regularly offered for sale.

Sporthorses

At Proosthof we always keep some horses a little longer to participate in sport ourselves.

Coaching

Benjamin is a motivated coach for talented and ambitious riders. He has successfully graduated at Masterclass in Deurne, Netherlands, where he was trained by the Dutch national coach Rob Ehrens.

Benjamin has learned as well from professionals as Marc Vandijck, Dirk Demeersman, Rik Hemerijck,.. As coach Level 2, Benjamin is able to guide and improve riders at Provincial and National level. The aim is to obtain and refine a harmonious cooperation between rider and horse.
